Hochzeiger 2.5

NEW from winter 2021/22: Hochzeiger 2.5 chairlift

With the construction of the "Hochzeiger 2.5" eight-seater chairlift, the Hochzeiger mountain railways follow their quality promise. The focus is placed on functionality, comfort and safety. After more than 32 years in operation, the Rotmoos chairlift was dismantled at the end of the winter season 2020/21. Instead of the Rotmoos chairlift the new "Hochzeiger 2.5" eight-seater chairlift will be in operation from winter 2021/22. We began with the construction of the new state-of-the-art lift in summer 2020. The second phase of construction work will take place in summer 2021.

Functionality meets design

The new, ultra-modern chairlift has weather protection hoods, eight heated comfort seats and a lockable safety bar system. The route runs spectacularly towards Hochzeiger. The mountain station at almost 2,500 meters can be reached in just 4:46 minutes. Here - at the highest reachable point of the Hochzeiger ski area - you have an impressive view of the ski area and the Pitztal mountains and from here more than 80% of the slopes in the ski area are reachable.
