Jerzens

Jerzens in Pitztal

Sunny Plateau between 1,100 and 1,450 meters above sea level at the foot of the Hochzeiger ski and hiking resort

Jerzens, a village with approx. 1,000 residents and covering 30 square kilometres has developed into a modern holiday destination all year around through the consistent but careful growth and expansion of Hochzeiger ski and hiking resort.

Especially during the summer months, it is apparent that the village hasn’t lost its original appeal. It is transformed back from a buzzing winter metropolis to its roots: a charming Tyrolean mountain village. You will find peace and quiet, relaxation and hours of walking possibilities. A very special highlight in the summer is the traditional mountain pasture and the church festival on the second September weekend.
