Pitz Alpine Snow Trail - Trail runners on the Hochzeiger in winter
The PAST MEGA, which covers 20 kilometres and 1,900 metres in altitude, combines the complete PAST SUPER with the easier PAST GUAT to create an intensive, high alpine snow trail challenge. It is the great challenge of the Hochzeiger.
From the valley station, the route leads over piste and paths to the Stalderhütteand the Zirbenbahn cable car with the extremely steep Zirbenfall. The transition to the PAST GUAT route takes place via the ridge to the Sechszeiger: on to the Hochzeiger, technically steep through the "Kanonenrohr", via Zollberg and Zirbenpark back to the middle station.
The PAST MEGA is a comprehensive alpine snow trail challenge that perfectly combines steep key sections, a high alpine panorama and runnable snow passages.
