Pitzi's kids run
At Pitzi's ´kids run on Saturday, July 4th, 2026 this year at the middle station of the Hochzeiger Bergbahnen.
All children aged 0-9 who are keen runners can put their talent to the test.
There is a spectacular head-to-head race between the different age groups - every participating child receives a medal and gets to keep their race number.
Info about the Pitzi's Kids Run
- Registration on site: 12 pm - 1 pm at the Zirbenbäckerei at the valley station of the Hochzeiger cable cars
- The ascent and descent is FREE for every child with a start number!
- Online registration: until July 2nd, 2026
- Start Pitzi's kids run: 1:30 pm
- Age groups are started in starting blocks
- Award ceremony afterwards in the Zeigerrestaurant
- Free ZirbenPark admission for all children taking part in the Pitzi's Kids Run
- Each child receives a medal and a race number as a souvenir
Classification & route length
- U4 (2023 and younger): 200 m
- U6 (2021 and 2022): 400 m
- U8 (2019 and 2020): 600 m
- U10 (2017 and 2018): 800 m
