A must-do for all families who love a bit of action!
The two cycle trails at the Hochzeiger offer cycling fun for all age groups.
On the two blue trails, which span a total of 11 km, beginners and downhill enthusiasts can get a taste of the world of trail cycling. Cycling-mad families can gradually get to grips with the flow of the trails, whilst experienced riders can really put their foot down and shred their way down into the valley at breakneck speed.
During a breather at relaxing rest spots, you can take in the impressive mountain panorama of the Pitztal Alps.

Capricorn Trail
A flowing panoramic trail above the tree line.
The trail starts at 2,500 metres, right next to the exit of the Hochzeiger 2.5 eight-seater chairlift. Over a distance of around 4.5 km, it offers an action-packed ride for all cycling enthusiasts down to the Hochzeiger middle station at 2,000 metres.

Hochzeiger Family Trail
The Single Trail starts at 2,000 metres at the Hochzeiger middle station. From there, the route follows the “Hexenweg” towards the Hochzeigerhaus/Stalderhütte, before the trail enters the picturesque Swiss stone pine forest near the Bärensteig and finally ends at the Hochzeiger valley station at 1,450 metres.

Rookie Course
At the Hochzeiger midway station, you’ll find the Rookie Parcour – a practice area for beginners. You can practise your bike handling skills on simple obstacles. Build your confidence and practise important basics such as braking correctly, small jumps or drops. A snake run, a suspension bridge, seesaws, wooden steps, simple jumps and much more await you!

Around the Hochzeiger bike trails, there are also varied routes to beautiful places of spiritual energy and to the alpine huts serving food and drink. Whether you choose to cycle under your own steam or on an e-bike depends entirely on your preferences.
