Pitztal in 5 days for families

Day 1: Adventures start on your first day!​
The little ones have lots of energy left on your day of arrival? How about a climbing afternoon at the outdoor bouldering area “Mandlers Boden”? The 55 boulders are ideal for families and beginners. The clearing is also perfect for a picnic and already turns your first evening into a nature experience.

Day 2: Family adventure at ZirbenPark Hochzeiger
ZirbenPark at Hochzeiger with its 14 adventure stations is a must-see attraction for all families visiting Pitztal. Downhill rides on the ZirbenCarts are also a favourite! Please note that ZirbenCart hire is not included in the Pitztal Summer Card.

Day 3: Daytrip to the petting zoo in Imst​
Animal lovers will be amazed at the petting zoo in the hiking resort Imst. Take Imst gondola to section 1 up the mountain. From there it is a family-friendly hike to Latschenhütte mountain hut and once there continue to the petting zoo. Those, who are looking for a bit more active advetnure after that, can take the Alpine Coaster (mountain roller coaster) on the way back down to the bottom station. Please note that Alpine Coaster rides are not included in the Summer Card. 

Day 4: Raft ride on Europe’s highest raft
Be amazed when taking a raft ride on Lake Riffl see! Take in the glorious mountain landscape from the raft, drifting on Lake Riffl see at 2,232 m above sea level for a good hour. Afterwards, an easy one-hour family hike around the lake is worthwhile. After refreshments at the Sunna Alm, you can take the gondola lift back down to the valley. In the afternoon, a visit to the Tyrolean Ibex Center awaits you. There you can observe marmots and ibexes at eye level in a freely accessible wild animal enclosure. Please note that the raft ride is not included in the Summer Card.

Day 5: Climbing for children at Alpin Center Hochzeiger​
Pitzi’s cool climbing park offers several climbing routes, a rope bridge and via ferrate to conquer. Regardless of whether you are a beginner or advanced climber, Alpin Center staff will turn everyone into a climbing fan!

Day 6: Water action on your departure day​
Saying goodbye is never easy. If you still want to explore Pitztal a bit more on your departure day, why not enjoy your last few hours at PitzPark in Wenns. A natural swimming lake, playground and diving platforms off er plenty of water fun. Enjoy a snack or lunch at PitzPark Restaurant before setting off on your way home
