Piösmes / Fallebachfall

Ice climbing

Important Information

Here, hunters accept access to the waterfall approximately 150 metres from a wildlife feeding station. Please take a close look at the route when approaching the waterfall to avoid accidentally ending up at the feeding station on your way down.

Approach: The signposted car park is located 50 metres behind the last house in Piösmes. Follow the cross-country ski trail to the bridge that leads from the local shop over the Pitze. From there, you will see a forest aisle that leads directly to the waterfall. Start walking to the right of the forest aisle from the meadow until the terrain becomes steeper. Stay to the left of the aisle, but only very close to it, as the feeding station is located directly behind the edge of the terrain.

Another issue is night-time visits or late retreats or descents. As there are many crepuscular and nocturnal animals, we ask you to keep an eye on your time management.
