NEW from autumn 2025: Snowfarming trail in Mandarfen
From Saturday, 18 October, there will be a 1 km long and 5 m wide snowfarming trail in Mandarfen at 1,700 m above sea level. There is a changing room at the start of the trail.

The trail can be booked in 3 slots, 2 of which can be booked exclusively by groups and training teams. One of the three slots is available for all cross-country skiing enthusiasts.
Slot 1: 08:30 - 11:00 am | teams & clubs
Slot 2: 11:30 - 15:00 | public run | max. 30 tickets per day
Slot 3: 15:30 - 18:00 | teams & clubs

One slot: € 50.00 per day
Public run: € 10.00 per person
Depending on the slot reserved, cross-country skiers receive different coloured wristbands that entitle them to use the training trail. These can be collected and returned at the Mandarfen local information centre. On days when the information office is closed, cross-country skiers receive their ribbons at the Siglu restaurant or at the reception of the Hotel Das Vier.
Trail tickets and reservation
Tickets for the public run are available from our adventure shop or the local information centre. Teams and groups can reserve training slots by e-mail via the tourist office.

Ticket prices for the cross-country ski trails in Pitztal
Daily, weekly and season tickets are available for the use of all cross-country ski trails in the Pitztal and at the Gachenblick. Use of the cross-country trails is included with the Pitztal Guest Card. Children under the age of 16 ski for free! The ticket can be conveniently purchased via the online ticket shop or at the TVB information offices.

Comfortably by bus to the cross-country ski trail
Start your cross-country skiing trip in the Pitztal in a relaxed manner with the Postbus. Use the pitztal bus network with your ski pass or the Pitztal guest card and comfortably reach the various trails in the valley as well as the high-altitude trails on the Pitztal Glacier and at Lake Rifflsee.
