4. Cookies
We use so-called ‘cookies’ in some cases. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called ‘session cookies’. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser the next time you visit. You can configure your browser so that you are notified when cookies are set and can choose to allow cookies only on a case-by-case basis, block the acceptance of cookies in specific cases or generally, and enable the automatic deletion of cookies when you close your browser. If you disable cookies, the functionality of the TVB Pitztal services may be restricted. This enables us to recognise when the same user accesses the TVB Pitztal services multiple times.
5. Registration
Registration is not generally required to use the TVB Pitztal services. However, once you have registered with TVB Pitztal services, you will also gain access to starjack (SJack GmbH). By registering, you have given your explicit consent, in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, for the operator to store the personal data you have entered, (name, address, gender, date of birth and email address) may be stored by the operator and used to provide the additional content. The personal data will be stored for the duration of your registration and thereafter, and will subsequently be deleted. The continued storage of data following the termination of your registration serves the purpose of being able to identify the data controller in the event of any legal infringements. It is therefore in the operator’s overriding interest, in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. You will receive further information on the additional content during the registration process.

7. Analysis of TVB Pitztal’s services
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (hereinafter “Google”), to improve and optimise the TVB Pitztal services. Google Analytics uses so-called ‘cookies’, which are text files stored on users’ computers that enable an analysis of how users utilise the TVB Pitztal services. The information generated by the cookie regarding the use of TVB Pitztal services is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. We use the ‘IP anonymisation’ feature on TVB Pitztal services. As a result, however, your IP address is truncated by Google beforehand within Member States of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of the TVB Pitztal services, Google will use this information to analyse your use of the TVB Pitztal services, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with any other data held by Google. By using the TVB Pitztal services, you consent to the use of the data collected about you in the manner described above and for the purpose stated above. You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting the settings in your browser software; however, we would like to point out that, in this case, you may not be able to make full use of all the functions of the TVB Pitztal services. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookies and relating to your use of the TVB Pitztal services (including your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available via the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de Further information on how Google Analytics handles user data can be found in Google’s Privacy Policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de
8. Google Remarketing
TVB Pitztal Services use Google Remarketing. Google Remarketing is an advertising service provided by Google that enables targeted advertising to be shown to previous visitors to the website. Third-party providers, including Google, display adverts on many different websites across the internet. To do this, cookies are stored on the user’s device and used when the user subsequently visits another website to display adverts based on their previous visits to TVB Pitztal services. Users are identified via cookies set in their web browser. These cookies enable user behaviour whilst visiting the website to be analysed and subsequently used for targeted product recommendations and interest-based advertising. If you do not wish to receive interest-based advertising, you can use the Ads Preferences Manager to disable Google’s use of cookies for these purposes and customise adverts on the Google Display Network by visiting the DoubleClick opt-out page. Alternatively, you can opt out of third-party cookies by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page or by disabling cookies in your browser settings. 9. Facebook Custom Audiences
TVB Pitztal services use Facebook Custom Audiences. Facebook Custom Audiences is an advertising service provided by Facebook Inc., 1601 S California Ave, Palo Alto, CA, 94304, USA, which enables targeted advertising to previous visitors to the website. Facebook uses cookies to display adverts based on a user’s previous visits to TVB Pitztal services. Users are identified via cookies set in the web browser, which are stored there for a period of 90 days. These cookies enable user behaviour whilst visiting the TVB Pitztal services to be analysed and subsequently used for targeted product recommendations and interest-based advertising. If you do not wish to receive interest-based advertising on Facebook, you can opt out here (in English only): https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads
10. DV360/CM360
This website uses the Floodlight tag from DV360 to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns, limit the frequency with which you are shown a particular advert, and to display only adverts that are relevant to you and your interests. In particular, information regarding the adverts you click on, as well as your previous usage behaviour on third-party websites, is collected and stored. Google uses the cookie ID to track which adverts are displayed in which browser and can thus prevent them from being shown multiple times. Furthermore, Google can use cookie IDs to track so-called ‘conversions’ relating to ad requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a Google advert and later visits our website using the same browser and makes a purchase there. The cookies do not contain any personal information such as email addresses, names or addresses.
You can manage and withdraw your consent to the storage of cookies at any time by adjusting the relevant settings in the Consent Management solution.
Further information on Display & Video 360 by Google is available at marketingplatform.google.com/about/display-video-360 and support.google.com/displayvideo/answer/9059464 , as well as Google’s general privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

11.2 Data transfer via social plugins
When you visit our pages, the plugin establishes a direct connection between your browser and the social network’s server; this provides the social network with the information that you have visited our TVB Pitztal services using your IP address. Social networks may also be able to recognise via the plugin that you are on TVB Pitztal services without you having to click on the plugin. Through the integration of the plugins, the operator of the social network receives the information that you have accessed the relevant page of the TVB Pitztal services. When you interact with social plugins, the relevant information is transmitted directly from your browser to the operator of the social network and stored there. Further information on this can be found in the respective privacy policies of the social networks.

14. SSL encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content – such as the enquiries you send to us as the website operator – the TVB Pitztal services use SSL encryption.
