Pitz Spring Weeks 2026

The Pitz Springs Weeks are a contrasting series of events from mid-March to the beginning of May. A wide variety of events are spread over six different themed weeks, from sporting events and concerts with international bands to culinary highlights and traditional festivals.

While trail runners conquer the mountains from below at the Pitz Alpine Snow Trail at the entrance to the valley, freeriders head in the opposite direction at the Pitztal Wild Face at the end of the valley. Here, 100 freeriders search for the fastest route down to the valley on the north face of the Mittagskogel.

The Pitz Nordics cross-country races are the highlight of Nordic Week and a real family celebration. Kids' and night races, as well as special races over 10, 20 and 30 kilometres in skating and classic style, offer something for everyone who enjoys cross-country skiing.

Spectacular live acts, popular DJs and musical highlights await you in the mountains during Music Week. It all kicks off with "Hochzeiger rockt" featuring a concert by the duo "Pizzera & Jaus". The Spring Party Mile at Rifflsee also guarantees a great atmosphere in March.

Easter Week at the Pitztal Schneefest is a hearty affair. In addition to the Pitztal bands St. Leonhard and Zaunhof, stars of the schlager music scene will also be taking to the stage.

The Wine & Sound Week at Austria's highest coffee house is a treat for the senses. Café 3.440 not only invites you to Austria's highest wine tasting, but also to several musical highlights ranging from DJ sets to jazz and folk music with its "Music at Café 3.440" series.

Traditionally, Café 3.440 comes alive at the end of April when Barbara Plattner performs with her harp. Surrounded by thousands of mountain peaks, the relaxing sounds of the harp create a very special atmosphere.

You should quit while you're ahead. That's also the motto at the Pitztal Glacier when the big season closing is on the agenda at the beginning of May. An extensive programme including music, fun races and a competition for the fastest goggles bid farewell to winter as it takes a well-deserved break.
