Pitztaler Schneefest

The 35th edition of the Pitztaler Schneefest will take place on 10 April 2027 in Mandarfen.
At the Pitztaler Schneefst you can look forward to plenty of music, a great atmosphere and a friendly, family-friendly vibe. There will be a proper party in the marquee in Mandarfen from midday until midnight. Entry is free.
The St. Leonhard and Zaunhof brass bands will open the event with a march-in. Following the morning concert and the traditional tapping of the beer barrel, good food, traditional music and a varied children’s programme will create a family-friendly atmosphere. The musical highlight of the 35th anniversary is a concert by HANNAH, the ‘Queen of Alpenschlager’. She will set the mood in the afternoon, followed by Die Jungen Zillertaler. To round off the Snow Festival, the party band Youngblood will deliver the perfect show with their energetic stage presence.
Programme
- 12:00 noon: March-in of the St. Leonhard and Zaunhof brass bands, followed by a traditional morning pint and the official opening with speeches and awards.
- 2.00 pm: Traditional beer tapping
- Followed by: Concert with HANNAH
- Afternoon: Performance by Die Young Zillertalers
- until midnight: Show night with the party band Youngblood
Arrival and parking
The Pitztal Snow Festival takes place in the center of Mandarfen on the parking lot of the Rifflseebergbahnen. The Mandarfen bus stop is located directly at the festival site and there are plenty of parking spaces available for those arriving by car. A special shuttle bus runs at certain times between Mandarfen and Imst.

A look back at the highlights of 35 years of Schneefest. In addition to musical greats such as Hansi Hinterseher, Helene Fischer, the Nockalm Quintett and many more, Olympic victories and world championship titles of top Pitztal athletes such as Benni & Marlies Raich, Mario Stecher, Wolfgang Linger and Heidi Neururer were also celebrated.
Admission to the family festival has always been free and the Mandarfner innkeepers have donated the proceeds to charity.
