From 4 to 20 September, selected mountain huts in the Pitztal Valley will spoil you with special regional specialities. The pleasant hiking weather provides the best conditions for a culinary hike through the Pitztal. Savour local dishes amidst the impressive Pitztal mountain scenery.
The delightful finale is the food festival "Kulinarik am See" on Sunday 20 September, where local chefs serve up culinary highlights in an atmospheric setting.

On Sunday, 20 September, local chefs invite you to the "Kulinarik am See" event in Stillebach, where regional specialities will be served in an atmospheric setting.
On your culinary journey through the Pitztal, you will be surprised by modern interpretations or own creations of different dishes. Exquisite wines, carefully curated by Wein Neururer, provide the perfect finish.
The "Hatcheck" duo will provide the background music and atmosphere.

Arrival and parking
The "Kulinarik am See" event takes place at the bathing lake in Stillebach . The Stillebach bus stop is a 3-minute walk away. For those arriving by car, parking spaces are available at the St. Leonhard sports ground .

During the Pitztal Culinary Weeks from 4 to 20 September 2026, selected mountain huts will be offering a selection of special dishes. Each establishment has created its own special dish. The pleasant hiking weather in late summer provides the best conditions for a culinary hike through the Pitztal.
Local specialities at the gourmet huts
- Gletscherstube: Vension specialities from Pitztal; cranberry dumblings
- Rüsselsheimer Hütte: Mountain Hut Tapas (Ibex Carpaccio, Spätzle, house-cured bacon, spinach dumplings, local cheese)
- Venetalm: "Alm Mex" (focaccia bread, salad, meat petty, fried bacon, fried egg, tomatoes, caramelized onions, cocktail sauce) or vegetarian option with vegetable rösti
- Braunschweiger Hütte: Burger from local vension meat (homestyle bun, Tyrolean mountain cheese, caramelized braised onions, root vegetable slaw, cranberry mayo, iceberg lettuce and french fries on the side)
- Tiefentalalm: Shredded pancake with personal touch
- Ludwigsburger Hütte: "Ludiwgs burger"
- Taschachhaus*: Tyrolean-style roasted potatoes with fried egg and coleslaw
- Rifflseehütte: Two spinach dumplings with brown butter and Parmesan
- Zeigerrestaurant: Hochzeiger Rösti (Arzler potatoes with vegetables, bacon, onions and sour cream), vegan version (Arzler potatoes with vegetables and soy dip)
- Kaunergrathütte*: Three-Course Mountain Hut Meal (spinach ravioli, cheese dumplings and spinach dumplings on cabbage with nut butter)
- Gogles Alm: Roast vension with spaetzle and red cabbage
- Larcher Alm: Sliced alpine pork with side dishes
- Tanzalm: Dishes featuring local game, pumpkin, chanterelles, and fish
- Stalderhütte: "Stalderhüttenpfandl" (Pork medallions with bacon cream sauce and buttered spaetzle)
