Glacier Day - A real Adventure for Everyone
In Summer, the Glacier Days are guided by a professional mountain expert from Pitztal every Wednesday and Saturday (fee: EUR 10.00 per person). Meeting point at the mountain station Gletscherexpress - Restaurant Kristall. Sturdy hiking boots and sun protection/sunscreen are an absolute must. The hike takes place in good weather only. Walking time: approx. 3 hours
Our certified mountain guide takes you right to the heart of Pitztal's glacier world. On a memorable loop walking tour, leading past "natural sculptures", you get to know more about the glacier ice and how it shaped the valley. The route travels through glacial mills, glacier snouts, glacial polish areas and bizarre rock formations.
