With more than 121 kilometers of pistes in the three Pitztal ski areas of Hochzeiger, Rifflsee and Pitztal Glacier, you not only enjoy an exceptional number of hours of sunshine, but also guaranteed snow from September to May. The altitude guarantees perfect conditions, as 90% of the slopes are above 2,000 meters.

Pitztal Glacier & Rifflsee

The Pitztal Glacier is one of the most snow-sure ski areas in Austria and ideal for skiers of all abilities. Skiing starts here as early as September. At the highest point at 3,440 m you will find the "Café 3440" - Austria's highest coffee house. The adjacent Rifflsee winter ski area attracts both families and ambitious skiers with its varied pistes.

Hochzeiger cable cars

With a breathtaking 360-degree mountain panorama and sun-kissed slopes, the Hochzeiger family ski area offers ideal conditions for skiers of all abilities. Perfect pistes, powdery deep-snow slopes and a 6 km long, floodlit natural toboggan run await you. Rustic huts invite you to stop for a bite to eat. Thanks to the altitude of up to 2,500 m, you can ski on perfectly groomed slopes until late spring.
