PITZTAL WILD FACE

The Pitztal Wild Face, one of the toughest freeride races in the world, has been taking place since 2009. The start is at Mittagskogel, where the sporty, chilled atmosphere on the Pitztal Glacier alone makes it worth watching. In addition to the race, there are various supporting programs that make a visit particularly worthwhile. The race is a time trial on the north face of the Mittagskogel, where 100 riders compete against each other in four categories (ski and snowboard for men and women). The event has been part of the Freeride World Tour and a Freeride World Qualifier since 2013.
