Since 2006, the Pitztal Glacier Marathon has been a fixture on the racing calendar. Having sold out for the first time last year, it will celebrate its 21st edition in 2027.

The Glacier Marathon winds its way through the impressive mountain scenery of the entire Pitztal valley. Starting at the foot of the glacier, you’ll enjoy the most beautiful views that nature in the Pitztal mountains has to offer.
The Glacier Marathon embodies what sport has always been about: physical exertion, stamina, fighting spirit and, most importantly, camaraderie! The family-like atmosphere, the warmth of the marshals along the route and the exuberant atmosphere in the finish area make this running event something truly special every year.
