Kaunergrat Nature Park

The Kaunergrat Nature Park covers an impressive 589.2 km² and is a true paradise brimming with natural treasures. On the Kaunergrat, natural resources go hand in hand with a great sense of responsibility. At the heart of this is respectful stewardship and the harmonious coexistence of people and nature. As well as extensive hiking trails, the nature park can be experienced first-hand at its visitor centres.

The Pitztal is one of three nature park regions within the Kaunergrat Nature Park. Whether it’s guided walks in summer or winter walks and snowshoe hikes in winter – the nature park centre is an ideal starting point for activities in every season.
