St Leonhard, with about 1,500 residents and covering 220 square kilometres is located in the upper valley of Pitztal. Its villages and hamlets are scattered along the narrow valley over a total length of 25 kilometres.

    During the summer season, St Leonhard is an eldorado for mountain walkers and mountaineers.     St. Leonhard in Pitztal offers a unique experience to any skier, snowboarder, hiker, mountaineer and nature fan. In winter, you can expect the best piste conditions and Pitztal Glacier and Rifflsee offer snow guarantee into the spring, with over 60 km of cross-country trails, walking trails and numerous frozen waterfalls.
