Please notice our general terms and conditions before using our lift passes and have a perfect hiking day in the Hochzeiger hiking area and ZirbenPark.
opening hours summer 2023
Section 1 - Hochzeiger gondola lift:
From 26rd May until 15th of October 2023. Daily 9 am to 5 pm (no lunch break)
Section 2 - Sechszeiger double chair lift and Section 3 - eight-seater chairlift Hochzeiger 2.5
From 16th of June until 17th of September 2023 daily.
Between 19th of September and 15th of October 2023 the chair lifts only operate on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday (only in good weather)
Daily 9.10 am to 4.30 pm (no lunch break)
The ZirbenPark adventure trail at intermediate station is open between 26th of May and 15th of October 2023.
ZirbenCart rental (mountain carts operation depending on the weather):
Open daily between 16th of June until 17th of September 2023 from 9.10 am until 4 pm.
From 19th of September until 15th of October 2023 the ZirbenCart route is open every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday (only in good weather)
Daily 9.10 am to 4 pm (no lunch break).
Hochzeiger Downhill bike trails:
- Ibex trail, blue, from 2,500 to 2,000 m, length: 4,5 km, start: top station eight-seater chairlift
- Family trail, blue, from 2,000 to 1,450 m, length. 7 km, start: top sation gondolas
Ticket office opening hours:
The Hochzeiger mountain railway ticket office team is at your service from 26th May until 15th of October 2023, daily between 9 am and 5 pm.
In addition to cash (euro), the cableway offices accept the following methods of payment: EC card (debit card), Mastercard and VISA. (Please observe the limits of your credit or bank card.)
It's not worth breaking the rules!
Anyone found in controlled zones without a valid ticket or one that is misused, must also pay an additional carriage fee in double hight of the day ticket.

Excerpt from the General Terms and conditions
Please understand that our office personnel can make no exceptions to the tariffs. Photos are not required for ski passes (except 7-day-Hochzeiger hiking lift pass and Gletscherpark Card). The lift passes are not transferable and must be produced on request by our supervisory staff. Retrospective exchange and the extension or alteration of validity terms are not possible. Cards not purchased at the offices and lost cards are stopped by the card readers. Misuse will result in the lift pass being withdrawn! (Attempting to transfer a lift pass to another person constitutes misuse.) We would like to note that photos for control purposes are made at the control points in the hiking resort.The right is reserved to make a report to the authorities. The tariff and transport conditions apply. We would point out that under railway liability laws only guests with valid passes enjoy insurance cover. In serious cases the lift pass will be withdrawn without compensation and a report to the authorities may be made. The general terms and conditions of Hochzeiger Bergbahnen Pitztal AG apply.

Information referring § 24 DSG 2000 to Photo Compare
Please note that for the purpose of entry control, a photo of the lift pass owner will be taken for reference when first accessing a turnstile fitted with a camera. Our ski lift staff will check this initial reference photo against photos taken every time you pass through turnstiles fitted with a camera. This initial photo will be deleted immediately after the lift pass expires and all other photographs taken are deleted 30 minutes (at the latest) after passing through each turnstile respectively. Please note that you may also purchase ski passes that are configured not to take pictures when passing through turnstiles, but holders must be prepared to be spot checked by our ski lift staff.
