Sledding in Tyrol is a family favourite. Hochzeiger offers an experience for tobogganing fans off the pistes: the start of Hochzeiger toboggan run is at 2,000 metres straight next to the intermediate station. The finish of the six kilometre track is in Kaitanger village, only a five minute walk from Hochzeiger lower terminus. Don’t miss out on the sledging fun in Tyrol. The Zeigerrestaurant at the intermediate station and the catered mountain huts within Hochzeiger ski resort provide great stop off points after your tobogganing adventure.
To preserve your energy the gondola lift will take you to the intermediate station in less than 15 minutes. From here the sledging ride starts at Hochzeiger toboggan run. The natural toboggan run navigates several bends through the Swiss pine forest down to the finish at the valley station of the gondola lift. Sledders will cover 550 metres in altitude during their ride. The state of Tyrol has awarded this run the “Natural toboggan run” seal of quality.
