Once there, you can enjoy the magnificent panoramic views of Rifflsee on a classic or skate skiing track. Please don’t forget that you are skiing on a trail at an average of 2,250 m and will therefore tire more quickly than usual. For refreshments you can stop at the “Sunna Alm” or “Riffelseehütte“ mountain huts.

Nature Park Centre Piller Sattel / Gachenblick

This is a rather demanding trail with set tracks for classic skiing and set skate skiing tracks in places. It meanders over 7.5 km in length through the partially thick forest areas. After approximately 2 km skiers reach a small clearing and the trail runs over a demanding ascent to the “Harbeweiher” pond. After a short loop around the frozen lake and a further ascent, the highest point of the cross-country skiing trail is reached. From there the trail again runs through dense forests back to the stating point. This cross-country skiing trail is ideal for nature lovers with adequate stamina.

Kogel Route - Blue

Start
Glacier Restaurant (2837m)
Finish
Top station Brunnenkogel (t-bar lift) (3244m)

From the Glacier Restaurant at the top station of Pitztal's Gletscherexpress via a short downhill stretch (about 50 m) to the tour's starting point at the base station of Brunnenkogel T-bar lift.

Characteristics and Description:
Blue Piste – Easy ski tour along the ski run
The ascent route follows exactly the ski piste number 20 on a moderately climbing route, starting at the T-bar lift's base station and leading along the right edge of the ski run (seen from the valley). After about 500 m the ascent route leaves the ski run, joining a separate ascent track towards a short steep slope between the ski piste and the jagged mountain saddle. After this strenuous climb you reach a level area where the route crosses the ski run towards its left side (seen from the valley). Here you continue on the groomed ascent track between the ski lift and the T-bar lift until you get to the lift's top station.
